Question: Is Jerzi your real name?

Answer: Of course, why would I lie to you? My dad's siblings name their daughters after places too apparently..

Question: Are you Chinese?

Answer: NO. Nor am I Korean, Japanese, Hispanic, Hawaiian, Vietnamese, Indonesian, or Indian. I AM FILIPINO! Haha

Question: Why do you prefer not to date a non-christian?

Answer: The reason i don't want someone who is not a Christian is: 1. I'd probably compromise my faith by adopting some of the lifestyle of that person. 2. The relationship would end anyways due to constant conflicts. && 3. It would be rare that we would maintain respect for our different beliefs. I'm looking for the qualities found in 1 Corinthians 13 [see scroll box below] because I want a relationship that will build both of us up. I know a lot of people spend most of their time looking for the right one, i'm guilty of that, but i now realize that i should focus more on becoming the right one. BUT yeah. definitely do NOT wanna marry a non-christian. d:

Question: What are you looking for in a guy anyway?

Answer: i'm kinda picky, but here's some of the things i'm looking for.

Someone who:
-is my age or older.
-is reliable and committed to God.
-can sing and play an instrument<3 [if you play piano or drums, that's a plus]
-will be willing to travel with me everywhere! Hawaii, Japan, Paris/Europe, Greece, Et cetera.
-isn't afraid to try new things or leave their comfort zone.
-loves to write. [short stories, songs, anything]
-won't be too shy, but is not too bold to make himself look like a fool. lol.
-is not short tempered or is into self destruction.
-will put up with my low self esteem moments. d:
-won't try to get me to do stuff i feel uncomfortable with.
-is patient and polite;; not jealous or selfish.
-won't hold grudges and will easily forgive.
-doesn't have a problem saying "i'm sorry"
-is loyal to God, his family, me and his friends.
-trusts me and won't flirt with other girls. that'd be nice..
-can be straight up honest with me.
-will be somewhat protective over me.
-won't bail out when times are tough.
-is wise, well educated, and has a motivation to go far with his education.
-has a car, a job, a house?, and respect for his/my family. :D
-is good with kids. that makes my heart melt.
- will sing cute love songs randomly :D? [OPTIONAL]
-won't be too clingy.
-doesn't mind asking my parents permission to do anything but mainly to ask me out. 1. bc my parents like that, 2. bc i like that, 3. it'll make you the best person ever in my book. <3

Love

New Years pt. I: Joy & Peace

My family and I flew up to NJ to sing and play worship music for my home church’s New Years eve service at 10pm-Midnight. Everything went so smoothly and I could really feel God’s presence throughout the building..

After we played, our pastor spoke for a bit then we did communion and picked a Bible verse from a basket full of little cards. Whatever verse you picked was God’s special one for YOU and not just a coincidence. My verse fit my situation perfectly:

“The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth forever.” -Psalm 138:8

Took me a while to grasp because I don’t prefer King James Version, but it hit me. In 2011, I made a lot of dumb mistakes and felt depressed 75% of the year :| I flipped the Bible verse card over and found a prayer:

“Thank you, Father, for the joy and peace you have given me.”

In conclusion, despite all that I’ve done and all the sadness I felt, I still have joy and peace because God forgives mistakes every time we ask (and not abuse His mercy). I believe 2012 will be a grand year for me, things are finally turning around for me.

Hm but nobody can really confirm how old the earth really is because no one alive now was there.. I don’t even know.

I know, but I was just throwing out one of the differences, though I do believe in a higher being, I also agree with science. But through all the scientific studies and all that BS it is highly estimated to that.

+EDIT+ The only way I would know, is because if you study the genealogy in the Bible, it estimates that life on earth began about 6,000 years ago. But who knows? When God created earth by day, we don’t know if it was a literal day or 1,000 years to us. So no one really knows d: I mean i find the arguments irrelevant when it comes to believing in God, but i just found this online and thought it was cool lol
